Established in 1983 by Dr. Gary Mohr, Cañon Professional Wellness Clinic has been a cornerstone of family healthcare in Cañon City, Colorado. In 2023, the clinic embraced a new chapter under the leadership of Leslie Nelson, a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).

Meet Leslie Nelson, FNP

Educated at Chamberlain College of Nursing and holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University, as well as a Master of Science degree from Chamberlain University, Leslie Nelson is a powerhouse of knowledge and expertise.

Her experience extends to the emergency room of St. Thomas More Hospital, ensuring she's well-equipped for a variety of medical situations. With a national certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Leslie guarantees top-tier care for every patient.

Leslie Nelson is passionate about offering personalized care for individuals across all age groups. Our services span from annual exams, well-child check-ups, women's wellness exams, to DOT physicals and essential screenings like mammograms and colonoscopies. We prioritize building lasting relationships with our patients, ensuring each visit is tailored to your unique needs.
